From late-night crisis calls to long policy battles, we’ve handled it all. No issue is too small. No challenge is too complex. If you’re in trouble — we’ll show up. If you’re unheard — we’ll raise your voice.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we supported hundreds of thousands — leading one of the world’s largest student repatriation efforts. We coordinated emergency food, shelter, well-being support, and critical public information. We even helped launch a multi-million pound relief fund with NDTV and Adar Poonawalla for students in economic distress.
When war broke out in Ukraine, we helped stranded Indian students cross borders to safety, comforted their families back home, and supported the Indian government in coordinating rescue efforts. We’ve fought for students at every level — challenging unfair decisions, confronting discrimination, and campaigning relentlessly.
For over seven years, we ran the world’s longest international student campaign — successfully restoring the UK’s post-study work visa. And when the Graduate Route was threatened again, we stood in Parliament to defend it.
We were created to ensure that no Indian student ever feels alone — and that mission continues to shape everything we do. From emotional support to systemic change, welfare isn’t a department here — it’s our DNA.
